A conversation with the body
The Portrait explores the relationship between body, image, and self. It is a study of presence, sensuality, and what it means to turn the camera toward yourself — on your own terms, in your own light. These images are not documentation. They are decisions. What to reveal. What to withhold. How to be seen. How to compose yourself within a frame. Sometimes raw and unguarded. Sometimes deliberate and constructed. Always a conversation with the woman inside it. The Portrait documents the self as subject — through body, light, composition, and feeling. I can only be this honest with myself.
